Blackmores PhytoLife helps to reduce the severity and frequency of menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes and night sweats.
Features and benefits
- A clinically proven dose of natural plant-derived compounds called isoflavones that have a mild oestrogenic effect in the body and assist with the body's declining oestrogen levels that occur during menopause.
- Reduces the frequency and severity of menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats.
- Suitable for women who choose not to use hormone replacement therapy.
- Reduces loss of bone density common in post-menopausal women.
- Supports calcium requirements that increase in post-menopausal women.
- Assist in maintaining strong healthy bones.
- Convenient high potency 1-a-day dose.
How it works
- Symptoms of menopause are usually due to alterations in hormone levels, particularly the decline in oestrogen levels.
- PhytoLife is a source of phytoestrogens, which are compounds that have an oestrogen-like action in the body. Some of the active compounds found in soya beans are the phytoestrogens known as isoflavones. The chemical structure of the isoflavones in soy is similar to the oestrogen found in the body.
- In post-menopausal women the rate of bone loss is generally 1-2 per cent per year. Calcium has been included in Phytolife for strong, healthy bones.
Dosage
Adults - Take 1 tablet a day with a meal, or as professionally prescribed
